Account Director, Los Angeles

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Position Summary

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, Client Services professional with 7-10 years experience in interactive marketing, CRM, direct or research who is in tune with the latest developments in brands and brand marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the dynamics of the client's business and their category (competitive set, forthcoming category developments, industry issues, etc.) while pro-actively championing the role of the Company within that business in order to grow and diversify our business.
  • Ability to translate client objectives and issues into meaningful briefs for the team and management.
  • Coordinate with internal resources to implement and build client communities based on appropriate timeframes.
  • Take the lead in developing use cases that will deliver maximum impact for their clients from the use of the Passenger platform.
  • Communicate and log all client ideas and recommendations for platform evolution.
  • Supervise Community Manager(s) to ensure that the client's programs are always run when and as requested, that the platform is always operational when needed, and that any necessary alterations or improvements are delivered as efficiently as possible.
  • Take the lead on providing counseling and coaching services to each client in a bid to ensure clients see maximum impact and efficiency from subscribing to the platform.
  • Build strong partnerships with other client agencies to ensure that all activities are effectively understood and all opportunities to use the platform are leveraged.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Advertising or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in CRM, interactive marketing, direct marketing or research.
  • Proven success simultaneously managing multiple client relationships with high profile brands.
  • Experience with focus groups, moderation, research analysis, consumer panels or marketing surveys preferred.
  • Ability to develop, manage and track budgets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills mixed with proven execution experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under extreme pressure on multiple projects for multiple clients.
  • Strong computer skills is a must, basic HTML experience is a plus.
