Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position Summary
The User Interface / Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design development and continual refinement of the graphical interface for the Passenger platform.
Responsibilities
- A strong aesthetic sense
- Ability to translate creative direction into engaging, functional, and friendly user interface designs
- Strong understanding of user interface design process and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications
- Sophisticated understanding and use of typography for screen-based media
- Experience visualizing concepts quickly and cleanly
- Capable of understanding business, design, and user goals
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
- Experience with motion graphics and audio a huge plus
- Experience with print design for brochures or other print collateral also a huge plus
- Highly motivated multi-tasker, able to work well across several departments and under tight deadlines
- Minimum of 1-2 years work experience developing interfaces for consumer-centric applications or websites
- A portfolio with sample URLs reflecting high-caliber work in the interactive space
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Interactive Design, or related field of study.
